Oh how times have changed!!

My oh my, I haven't posted in a while and things have changed. Since my last post, I got divorced, remarried and have a little one on the way!!

So, now, I am back to being a wife and mother to my now 6, almost 7 year old and I will e 35 weeks along tomorrow!! We are expecting a little boy at the end of July. :)

Well, I just wanted to pop on and write a little something when I realized how long it's been! I'm off to spend time with my little guy, he will be leaving with my parents for 3 weeks on Friday to go to Michigan. Hubby just left to go work a job in So Ca so, I'm gonna enjoy this time!

Update from me

I hope everyone has had a great 2012 so far!! I can't say that mine has been wonderful but, it is getting better every day. School has been going GREAT and is my daily escape! I look forward to it each day. My marriage however, not so great. In fact, it is now over... We will be filing for divorce as soon as we can afford it. As each day goes by, I am more and more ok with it. I still have bad days and there is still a part of me hoping things will change but, in all honesty, hat part shrinks a little more each day. No matter what I have my little man and the support of friends and family. And, right now, that is all I need. :) I have been starting to develop a social life again as well. With everything going on, I pulled away from alot of people. Not anymore! Yesterday, one of the girls from school and I took off to San Francisco. I had a blast and got more than enough exercise! And now, I am going to go scrap and grab some lunch! :)

One Little Word 2012

I've been seeing all these posts about inspiring words lately and finally decided to take a look into it. After thinking and reading about other people's words, I have decided to use the word 'Achieve' for 2012. I am starting the Culinary Arts program at Le Cordon Bleu a week from tomorrow and that is a step in achieving my dream of a culinary career. I want to get back in shape which will be another achievement. On top of that, I'm going to try doing project 365 again. If I find it to be too much, I will do project 52. But, look for posts from me on Sundays with p365 updates. :) I hope everyone had a great New Year's. We stayed home, watched the ball drop on TV and toasted midnight with a kiss and a glass of champagne. Today, if was football and kicking back. Well, that's it for me today, hope everyone has a wonderful week!

About Me!

Hey there! I'm Jamie. I am married to my hubby, for 5.5 years as of this post and we have one little guy who is just over 4 years old right now. While I was pregnant, I discovered sig tags. From there, it evolved to digital scrapbooking. Then, it became hybrid scrapping, that led to me getting a Silhouette SD which led to playing with paper. I have also always loved to cook. Whether it was the boil in a bag rice that I'd add milk, butter and cinnamon to at 7 or 8 years old, to the no bake cookies my nana  and I would make, the love has always been there. Recently, I have started making cake pops which are turning into a small business, and just recently discovered how easy it is to make caramel! I am hoping to keep this blog up to date with projects and recipes and what ever else happens to be going on in my head! I hope you enjoy whatever is to come! :)
